  We came here looking for broadband for 2 people, one of us working from home. They tried to sell us on their gigafast plan, 900 Mbps, with Netflix included (even though we said that we don't use Netflix). They insisted that I needed the high speed for work. This was not true as I have used much smaller plans for my work. We were not shown any other options except ones more expensive than the £35 exclusive bundle we were offered. They told us that the installation dates were going really quick so we should try to book right then and there. Even when we said we wanted to think about it a bit, they still tried to book an installation date, telling us we could just cancel it later. Their insistence was really uncomfortable. We walked away, looked up the broadband plans on the Sky website, and found what we actually wanted for much cheaper than what they were trying to sell us. Had we been offered that plan, we might have bought it from them. This was an untrustworthy experience provided by customer service that was willing to lie to get a better sale. My experience has me wondering if the other reviews about how they got a great deal might actually just be customers who were *convinced* they got a good deal, when really they ended up paying more than they needed to. If you're someone who struggles with anxiety or with social interactions, do not go here. If you're not confident saying 'No', then you risk buying a contract you don't want and paying way too much for it. If you really want Sky broadband, the website has the information you need.
